About Aspley Hornets

Welcome to the Aspley Hornets – your local club on the national stage.

Since our first bounce-down more than 50 years ago, we’ve become known for our exceptional AFL teams competing at local and national levels. From grass-roots beginnings, the high calibre of our players, team spirit and local support has seen the Aspley Hornets grow to become one of Brisbane’s northern suburbs’ most popular social and entertainment venues.

Not resting on our past success, being awarded QLD’s Best Football Club in 2016, 2017 saw us undergo a multi-million dollar refurbishment, transforming the Hornets into a vibrant, modern community club that provides a safe and friendly environment for all to share.

We now boast a brand new entry in to the club via a spacious and inviting foyer. The entry has been aligned with our car park, and we now offer a very user friendly set down point eliminating long walks from the car on arrival. Moving through the architecturally designed floor plan will bring you to a state-of-the-art gaming room, hosting 167 gaming machines featuring a dedicated bar and café providing the ultimate customer experience. If Sports are your passion, you will be in our new Sports Bar located just meters from the field with a view that rivals and suburban sports bar and of course wall to wall TVs. If you just want to relax then our dedicated Keno Lounge will appeal. This area is purposely designed as a lounge area with comfortable cocktail style furniture, large screen TVs and self-service Keno terminal providing a truly user friendly environment.

Another achievement is our ability to now provide three menu options. Our recently launched new Bistro Menu is a must try with a mix of favourites, as well as new modern contemporary dishes to complement our surroundings. Our newly developed Café now offers breakfast dishes, pizzas, burgers, bagels, as well as more healthy options than ever before. The Café will provide a fast, yet tasty offer creating a point of difference and embracing a quick and easy style of dining. Finally, our dedicated Gaming Café serves coffee and sweet treats plus an entire snack menu prepared and served within minutes. This menu will be available from open until close every day.

• Premiers Bar: No Heavily Soiled Clothing allowed after 6pm or Hats
• Entire Venue: No hats permitted
