Aspley Hornets Team
|27th June 2021
As you may be aware from recent media releases, a Virgin crew member has tested positive to Covid-19.
Unfortunately, our VFL team was traveling on one of the affected flights, VA334 Brisbane-Melbourne on Friday evening. The club has confirmed that NONE of the players or support staff have been at or near the Hornets premises since returning from Melbourne.
With the AFL set to announce which teams were impacted via the media today, we wanted to let our members know that you can continue to visit the club and we are very aware of the situation.
We take the health and safety of you, our members, all our players, and support staff very seriously. Our management team and board are communicating with the affected players who are all in 14-day isolation and will remain there until the relevant health authorities give them clearance.
As mentioned above, there is no impact on the Hornets venue, and you are safe to use our facilities and enjoy our hospitality.
If you have any concerns, please contact the club manager Danni Francis on 07 3263 5522 or email@example.com
