Senior Match Previews – 7th July

Qfa Run Out

All the action is away from home this weekend. If the weather looks good it might be worth a trip to the coast to see some of our teams in action.

QFA Div 1 Seniors vs Caloundra – Carter Park  2pm
A great win last week against Yeronga has reinvigorated our guys as they face another must win game against Caloundra at Caloundra this Saturday afternoon. The Panthers are well placed on the ladder sitting in 4th place. Last week’s win has kept us in finals contention, with the bye next week, we need to make sure we take the 4 points to keep the momentum going for the last 5 games of the year.

QFA Div 1 Reserves vs Caloundra – Carter Park  11.45am
Our place in the finals is almost confirmed after last weeks win. Now we need to keep the wins coming and make our way up the ladder. We currently sit in 5th place while Caloundra’s reserves are currently sitting in 7th place.

QWFA Div 1 vs Coolangatta – Coolangatta 6.45pm
We continue to nip at the heels of ladder leaders Coorparoo sitting 2 points behind them. A win this week could see us jump them as they face a tough opponent in Broadbeach. Our opponent this weekend is Coolangatta who are currently sitting in 9th place on the ladder.

QWFA Div 2 vs Jindalee – Jindalee 3pm
Last week we faced the bottom of the ladder, this week we face the top. Jindalee are yet to loose a game this year, hopefully we can create some magic and be the first team to knock them off.

Colts vs Caloundra – Carter Park  9.30am
Last weeks loss put a pretty big dint in our finals hopes. We are still a mathematical chance but we need to get some wins on the board starting with this weekend. Caloundra will be a tough opponent sitting 4th on the ladder.

QFA Div 5 vs Ferny Grove – Falcon Park 7.30pm (Friday)
A win this weekend is a chance for us to climb to top spot on the ladder. Ferny Grove are currently in 7th position but one thing we know about Div 5 footy is any team can win under the Friday Night Lights.

Our NEAFL team and Both Masters teams have a bye this weekend.
