NEAFL vs GWS Giants – Spotless Stadium 4pm
The NEAFL Team travel to Sydney to face the GWS Giants at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon. After a disappointing loss to Canberra last week the boys will look to bounce back against the Giants who are currently sitting in 7th place on the Ladder. We are currently 5th on the ladder and a win this week will give our finals chances for 2018 a real boost as it will put us 8 points clear of 7th place. (NEAFL finals are top 6 teams)
QFA Div 1 Seniors vs Yeronga – Graham Road 2pm
A win is the only option for our QFA Seniors this weekend. We face bottom of the ladder Yeronga at Graham Road at 2pm Saturday afternoon. We currently sit in 7th position and if we are to stay in reach of the finals we need to get the 4 points this week. This is the main game at Graham Road on Saturday which will see 4 of our other senior teams playing (Colts, Reserves, QWFA Div 1, QWFA Div 2).
QFA Div 1 Reserves vs Yeronga – Graham Road 11.45am
Like the Seniors, a win this weekend is crucial for our Reserves side. Sitting 10 points clear in 5th position a win this weekend would go a long way towards cementing our spot in the finals.
QWFA Div 1 vs Yeronga – Graham Road 4.45pm
Our Women’s div 1 game finishes off the triple header against Yeronga and we will be hoping for a clean sweep. We currently sit 2 points behind ladder leaders Coorparoo so a win will keep pressure on them as we make a charge for top spot. Yeronga are sitting in 10th position with 1 win for the season.
QWFA Div 2 vs Griffith Moorooka – Graham Road 6.45pm
Our Womens div 2 team are the last Hornets side to take to the field on Saturday night facing off in a bottom of the table clash against Griffith Moorooka. We need to get the win to stay off the bottom where Griffith currently sit.
Colts vs Southport – Graham Road 9.30am
A tough game for our Colts this weekend as they face 2nd placed Southport in the first game of the day at Graham Road on Saturday. A win this week gets us back into finals contention. We currently sit in 7th place, but only 4 points from jumping into the top 4.
QFA Div 5 vs Marcelin – Graham Road 8pm (Friday)
Our Div 5 boys will look to get the weekend fixtures started with a win tonight as they play the Marcelin Old Boys at Graham Road. The last time we faced Marcelin they got the win so we will be looking to even the ledger this time. A win will help to keep us firmly placed in the top 2 on the ladder.
Both Masters teams have a bye this weekend.
