After no home ground action last week, we get it back this weekend with Senior games at both Graham Road and Brendale this Saturday
NEAFL vs Southport – Graham Road 1.30pm
After the bye last week our NEAFL team are at Graham Road facing the ladder leading Southport Sharks. A win this weekend is important to keep our place in the top 6. We currently sit on 24 points which is only 4 clear of Brisbane and the Gold Coast who are in 7th and 8th place on the ladder. The match will be a curtain raiser to the South Queensland vs North Queensland Representative match at 4.30pm.
QWFA Div 1 vs Burleigh – Brendale 12.30pm
Another big win last weekend has helped to continue our good form as we move closer to the finals. We are still sitting 2 points behind ladder leaders. With only 2 games left in the home and away season another win this weekend against 5th placed Burleigh is what we need.
QWFA Div 2 vs Sandgate – Brendale 10am
A local derby awaits us this weekend as we play 3rd placed Sandgate. The bigger sized Brendale Oval should help us so we are looking to cause an upset.
QFA Div 5 vs Ipswich – Ipswich 7.30pm (Friday)
This week we face the long trip to Ipswich on a Friday Night. We are currently on top of the ladder only by percentage so need to make sure we don’t let any games slip before the end of the year. Ipswich are sitting 6th on the ladder and are a hard team to beat when they are at home.
Our QFA teams, Colts and Both Masters teams have a bye this weekend.
