Sunday 15th July, the U/13 Girls team celebrated Madeline Wilkin’s 50th association game. On what was a big occasion, Maddie showed her normal class around the stoppages with several clearances and solid ruck work. Packed into a diminutive frame, Maddie possesses a fine kick and marking ability and an enormous motor. She has a fantastic work-rate and closing speed, indeed over a 50 metre sprint, she is just about the fastest player in both of the teams she plays for, the U/11 Gold team and the U/13 Girls. Maddie joined mid season 2016 and played 6 games for Darren Sceney’s U9 boys team. After a stellar beginning, she then played all of the 2017 season for the U/13 Girls as well as the U/10 Gold. Now in her third season, she is again playing for two teams so has rattled through her 50 games. Well done Maddie! Proud parents, Mark and Sonja and all associated players and management of your teams congratulate you!
